"Very good location - easy to go into La Fortuna and other attractions. Out room is the Volcano Room which is basically a duplex connected with another half of villa. It is the front row of the villas with direct volcano cone view off the patio (we only see the volcano once in three days due to cloud and rain in the rainy season) the room is spacious, clean and well equipped with an oversized washroom. The management also provided a chocolate plate as a welcome gift, which is a nice touch. However we found the hot springs ponds not warm enough ( which was improved the next two days) the regular hot tub is much warmer in comparison…also the included breakfast is under par with non fresh fruits and foods. We still tipped the omelette station anyhow."

The spa, the food, the hot springs—can't wait to go back and take more people with us. We had a couples massage and did yoga while we were there. "My husband and I stayed at Chachagua rainforest for 5 nights last week; Master Bungalow. The tree houses were sold out ☹️. Such a beautiful, peaceful, safe, and breathtaking resort . The scenery is gorgeous: hot springs, rivers, trees, flowers. Daily housekeeping: linens, towels, bathrobes are replaced by fresh and clean ones. Wonderful staff who payed close attention to our needs: Maria❤️🌸, Enersto, Ericka , Nathalie , Kimberly, Roberto, Gretchen , Emma , Karen. ( sorry I forgot some names). Staff of Thermo et Colibri restaurants; tour guy, the spa’s ladies; thank you💕. Driver Norman; thank you for driving us from Chachagua to Guanacaste safely. "This place was just lovely. We loved the Monteverde region. A gem and often overlooked for the nearby La Fortuna/Arenal region. The staff here was attentive and incredibly friendly. The place had a grown up hostal vibe. Cannot recommend Camino Verde enough!"
