"The hotel was great. Hotels.com however was a nightmare.
Fun fact, book your hotels via the hotel’s direct website. Hotels.com and its subsidiaries (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.) take almost 80% of the profit of small local hotels. The hotel itself is fantastic and easy to work with, the conglomerate of hotels.com is not.

"Die Anlagen auf dem die kleinen Häuschen stehen, ist ein Traum. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum erkunden ein. Das Häuschen selbst hat alles was man braucht, sogar eine Hängematte ist vorhanden.
Unser Highlight war aber definitiv Kira, die freundliche Haushündin mit der rosa Schleife."

"It is a clean room.lots of green around it feels like you're in the judge. thats what I was looking forward to. Very thin walls. Uncomfortable bed. It is a very nice area.we didn't drive and was able to get around easily.

"At the end of the rainbow, on the edge of the cloud forest, sits Hotel Belmar. The property feels like a unique blend of a boutique eco-lodge and a European ski chalet, crafted almost entirely from local wood. While the approach road is steep and rocky, there is convenient parking very close to the entrance.
With only 40 rooms, the experience feels intimate. Our room featured a private balcony with seating for two and a spectacular view of the valley extending all the way to the Nicoya Peninsula...

"Very nice, well equipped, modern and clean apartment. Attentive host, very quick to respond to our requests.
Less than 5 minute drive to shops and restaurants. Located next to the reserve, convenient for the night walk tour.
Only wished it had a little better noise isolation, since we had neighbors being loud early in the morning. "
