Not the fanciest place (but Monteverde isn’t about fancy), but the place with the most character of all our stays in CR. Friendly staff, family environment, and very communal dining areas conducive to meeting other travellers.

This place was great for the price! The plane is clean. They dont allow you to flush toilet paper and the sheets felt damp, otherwise it was great. Breakfast was great as well!

Rented the “apartment” for a couple of nights… excellent accommodation to base from for area tours and activities. The “PacMan” arcade style game setup was a great bonus. Facilitated gathering and unwinding after a day of zip lining and hiking.

We loved our stay here!! The staff is super friendly and helpful if you need tours or any other assistance! the room is super comfortable with AC. Breakfast was included and delicious along with tea and coffee. We were able to walk everywhere in town and the view in lovely to see everyday! Highly recommend staying here!

Really loved this property: has convenience parking nearby, is close to many restaurants and central downtown area. Staff was very nice and helpful, and breakfast was really good as well, made to order pancakes were really memorable. We were received by Diego, who was very welcoming after our flight and long car ride. He was really great and helpful with information and recommendations for guided tours that resulted in amazing hikes throughout the area. We had an excellent stay in a convenient location close to restaurant and stores. Very nicely run place and clean accommodations. Nice breakfast every morning. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They will arrange transportation and activities if needed

We stayed in triple room 127 which I would not recommend to anyone. It is directly below the dining room, and people were walking through it, some talking loudly, on the way to their rooms up to 1:30 a.m. then at 6:00 a.m. more noise as they set up for breakfast or maybe guests walking through again on their way somewhere. So none of us had a good sleep. Other than that, it was a nice place, great breakfast, and all staff were very kind and helpful.
