"What a great place at a great location. The rooms were super comfortable. My wife was sick when we arrived but rested and got better. The location is great for getting around, but also a great place to sit as well. It has a sort-of hostel feel but with all private rooms and very clean and organized. We both recommend Camino Verde B&B"

"The property was very nice, immersed in the woods. The only concern is that because of the same a lot of bugs get into the house via cracks/crevices. We did find quite a few spiders some of which were on the bigger side. The location is great and convenient! We saw wildlife at the property which was a plus! They have a decent trail, we enjoyed our walk/hike!"

"What an amazing property. It is absolutely beautiful from the time you drive in the gates. Reception was very warm and helpful. The family obviously deeply cares about their guest experience. After a very quick check in and sharing of info they walked us right to our cabana. Inside was spotless clean and in great condition. Great kitchen and bathroom with more than enough hot water for everyone. We took the walking trail around the property with the family puppy and even saw a coati."

"The Location was excellent, close to restaurants and supermarkets. The room was very spacious with a view of the surrounding hills. There were several trails on the property which were beautiful and interesting. I saw a family of Coati's one afternoon feeding on a tree at the edge of the property. That was a great experience. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff was very helpful and several tours were booked through the hotel. It was a three hour drive from San Jose to Monteverde...

"The grounds at this hotel were beautiful saw many animals and the location is wonderful as you can walk to many restaurants. There weren’t any nets on the windows so if you need a breeze they need to be opened slightly (one of our tilt windows couldn’t close) but they do provide bug spray and a flashlight. Parking was very easy and breakfast was amazing!"

"Good property and location. Room wasn’t quiet at all. Fan was loud and couldn’t use. No air conditioning. Wind outside was knocking things around. Shower temperature was difficult to adjust. Parking was limited and obstructed by some construction stuff."

"We arrived with teens after a long drive in a downpour. Upon check in we learned there really were no gathering spaces or on-site options to get out of the cabin during bad weather, so it was not ideal for our circumstances. But, for activities in the area it is a great jumping off point and truly a magical little place.
