"For being on a main road, This place is well kept, the rooms were very clean and smelled nice. I rented 2 rooms. They allowed us to check into 1 room 1 hr early. The other room wasnt ready until 30 min after check in time. Parked near our room was tight. The mattress needs to replaced.
There was a Keurig in our room. The internet worked"

"This place is horrible do not stay here! Not only did they give me keys to someone else's room, my room apparently wasn't even ready yet 45 mins after their check in time. When trying to get my money back, after not even staying there and booking a different room, I wasn't even able to get my money back."

"Room was very basic but had everything we needed, including a fan. There was no ac in our room, but with the window open and the fan on, it was quite comfortable. It was about a 10 min walk to Fishermans wharf where we were able to catch the free trolley into cannery and the aquarium. After a long day, the hot tub was very relaxing. Overall, would stay here again if I find myself back in Monterey."

"We've stayed here before years ago when there was a jacuzzi and breakfast. Those days are gone and now they charge $10 for parking. And of course, the prices went up. But all in all, we had a pleasant stay. The room was very comfortable but we could hear low flying jets till 11pm and they started up again at 5am. Have breakfast at Grandma's down the street!"

"Definitely a unique hotel with a fun, vintage atmosphere. It had basic amenities in the room, no fridge- but i had a cooler. The unique decor was what sells this room- it was the Norma Jean room. The hotel itself seems pretty old, but that's what gives it the charm. The rooftop restaurant/ bar had a nice view and good food/ service. "Overall clean. Nice staff. Stayed two nights and the housekeeping replaced our towels with fresh ones but didn’t make our bed or sweep the floor. Mattress was ok. The pillows are your typical cheap hotel pillows. Dog fee was $40/ night which seems a little high to me especially since the rooms don’t even have carpet. No AC, which I failed to note when I booked the room. It did have a ceiling fan, so we slept comfortably enough but the daily high temp was only 65 when we stayed there."
