"Nol Kyoto Sanjo is a beautiful hotel in a great area of central Kyoto. Rooms are very zen-like and very clean! Location is perfect for shopping and dining. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. We will definitely stay here on a future Kyoto trip!"

"Great space for a family - could have easily fit more than 4 in our unit. There was a pretty functional kitchen - well stocked with utensils but no supplies (pots and pans). Thankfully a very convenient and well stocked Family Mart exists right next to the hotel, and is open 24 hours. "This Kyoto hostel completely overturned my impression of local accommodations being typically cramped. Very clean and comfortable. "The room is even better in person. Really big, you can tell that everything is new. The hotel provided more than I was expecting. Location is great, near to bus stops and train station, supermarkets and restaurants. If I ever go back to Kyoto, I'd definitely gonna go back to the same place. "

The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to a very popular photography spot in Gion. Because of this, expect some noises as there are always photographers outside around the clock.
