Lancemore Crossley's greatest strength is undoubtedly its location in the heart of Chinatown. Beyond that, it's a small, impeccable boutique hotel, provided you can overlook the typical shortcomings of boutique hotels: small coffee-style tables in the rooms that aren't suitable for serious work, etc. The staff, however, were always very friendly and helpful.

The room is super, bed comfy, GREAT happy hour, lovely staff and I will always love the ghostly lift entertainment. Our only beef is the doorless shower, but that is really a first world problem... really not worth mentioning, and will not prevent me from returning again and again. The parking privilege is a lifesaver, thanks so much!!

We stayed in a junior suite and it was perfect for us — spacious, spotless, and really comfortable. The staff were so helpful and the location is super central, close to everything. The only thing I’d change next time is to book a room on a higher floor, as ours didn’t get much natural light. Overall, a great stay!

As we arrived at 10:00 am, the luggage storage gave us a chance to explore Melbourne. The staff were extremely helpful and the room was clean. The hosted hour for drinks was a nice touch. We had everything we needed included. What made our stay here exceptional was the luggage storage on check out. We were out and about in Melbourne when we received an email from the lancemore to advise that our passports had been found in the safe. We are very thankful to the staff who returned our travel documents and money untouched.

A great return to Lancemore Crossley St. staff were friendly and helpful- allowing a late check out post surgery which was much appreciated. Rooms are spacious and super quiet. Beds are like clouds which made for a restful sleep. The only minor negative and I mean minor, was the poor shower water pressure and the constant juggling of the hot and cold to get a consistent temperature. But don’t let this turn you off. It’s a great hotel and the prefect location to the ‘Paris’ end of Melbourne. Thanks for having us!

The staff were very courteous and efficient and the room was spotlessly clean. However, you could hear (loud) the tv on in a neighbouring room, the footsteps in the room above us and also conversations in the corridor of the hotel. We were on level one so you could hear everything outside too. I’m thankful that we were staying on a Monday night and not a weekend. Overall a lovely hotel, just a shame that there doesn’t appear to be any soundproofing.
