"We rented the room just for 12 hours due to a flight change. We had never stayed at the Royal but here are my take aways: Very clean. Room and entire property was kept clean, well maintained and fairly modern. Pools are small but efficient. We stayed a week in Wailea (more expensive) and was a little disappointed in the food on property at the Royal. "Exceeded my expectations"

"We loved our stay for our family of 4! We had access to several different pools and restaurants. The pool was a tad cold for my liking but the kids didn’t seem to mind. You’re right at the beach which is amazing. There’s a free shuttle to whaler’s village which is a huge perk. We stayed in a one bedroom condo and having a full kitchen was amazing. We will definitely be back! "

"We loved staying here, great rate over the thanksgiving weekend. The pool was really nice and the parking convenient, cheap and right on site. Front desk staff was friendly and we were able to late check out for free at 1 pm. We also got lucky and had a free room upgrade to a 1 bed suite that had a beautiful view of molokai. "The cooking station downstairs allowed for easier food costs compared to eating out every meal and the free laundry mat helped out with the return to home. Pool was fun and they had plenty of events throughout the week like free snowcones and live music. The staff was always friendly especially when there was a problem. A great place to stay!"
