"What a dream stay for my husband & I. All rooms have ocean front views. Love that all units are like a home away from home with a full kitchen & laundry available. The only thing was our laundry machines weren't the greatest in our room, and sand does get in a bit easily so I would recommend bringing some room slippers. The shades in our room weren't blackout shades, but we didn't mind as we were up early most days. The beach directly in front of the hotel has reefs, which can cut your feet so...

"Thus was our first trip to Maui and we found it to be most pleasurable. The property is very well maintained. It has a great view and awesome amenities. The only thing we had an issue with is getting the TV to work but it gave us an excuse to be outdoors. "

We had the fortunate experience of seeing sea turtles down the beach from the property. Safe and affordable. We had a water alarm go off during our stay under the bathroom vanity next to the kitchen. I called maintenance and they responded promptly to my voice message. Maintenance made sure to come back to check in on the issue. My only feedback was...

"Honeymooners first time in Maui, we loved this hotel. In the touristy North-west section of Maui but right on the beach (beautiful sunsets), facility amenities were exactly what we were hoping for. Clean site and rooms, spacious room with full kitchen and living room and a washer/dryer in-unit. Concierge service was excellent at helping us book the tours/events we wanted despite short notice. "Royal Kahana is showing it's age despite the construction going on which made lots of noise during the day. Our unit was nicely renovated. The sliding glass door was noisy at night due to the high winds. Staff and security were very friendly. Parking was easy to find. We would come back."
