"Good things: room was clean, check in was easy. BUT PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE We spent 2 nights here, and both nights I woke up suddenly because the REALLY loud noise from the toilet. On the first night I thought someone broke in the room and smashed the toilet! Turned out it’s just the neighbors using it and there’s no sound proof or whatever. The second night was even worse. We were assigned to a connected room and we can literally hear EVERYTHING the guests in the next room said, the music...

"Seem like you have to tippy toe around the property front office people will blame you for stuff that you don’t do. The condo is very nice but it needs new pans other than that. Great location very clean looking place. Be careful sitting on the balcony having dinner people above you or shake their rugs out over the railing all in all good place would do it again"

"Pros: Biggest plus at this condo was location -- steps from the beach, dining, shops, etc. One bedroom condo was also very clean when we arrived, well supplied, and spacious. Great pool, especially midday when everyone is at the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of tp. Condo was quiet and beautiful landscaping provides a lot of privacy. Cons: No view so we did not spend time on the lanai. Water filter needs replacing; no through the door chilled water while we were there....

"Great place to stay. Walking distance to the beach (across the street from the complex). Walking distance to coffee shops and shopping. Easy short drive to Safeway for groceries. Condos have what you need and nothing more; but who goes to Hawaii to stay in the condo all day? You came for what’s outside so it’s perfect. :)"

"Very nice view of ocean & golf coarse. Was quiet until the upstairs people moved in, then was noisy. There was no map to help find our unit. There was no drinking water in the unit. Low phone service."

"The place was very clean. The staff was very communicative and accommodating. I stayed Wednesday-Sunday and I extended my stay 1 night which was very fast and easy. They left us chairs and towels which was very nice for the beach. The place was very spacious for 2 people. If you want to cook this has plenty of counter space. The balcony had a partial ocean view which was very nice. Great value for your money. Check in/out was very easy. You can walk right to the best beaches around. Only Cons...

"Stayed in Kauhale Makai 102 for 7 nights. A few suggestions: -since it is a studio, consider upgrading the refrigerator to a quieter model that does't sound like a noisy engine running right next to you ! - the mattress needs replacing, very saggy in the middle and way too soft"
