"The location is very close to the Sassi, which was my main objective. The parking garage was also very close and convenient. Our room was fine, small shower but to be expected in Italy! All good. Now, let me tell you about the sweet host, so helpful! He set up breakfast for us, baked fresh croissants with jams and nutella, made wonderful coffee and offered yogurt, juice, Matera bread ( the best!) we were a group of 6 filling all of his rooms for the night. Perfect stay for us!"

"This hotel is spectacular. Such an awesome experience. Everyone was incredibly helpful, the location is great. A shuttle drove us from the car park and picked us up. The room was excellent, we were upgraded to a deluxe suite which was amazing. The only comment I have is that there was no door between the toilet and the bed. Thankfully we had this cool little tunnel to a room in the cave with some chairs where one of us would wait if the other needed to โ€˜goโ€™. I would absolutely stay again the hotel is part of an amazing matera experience"
