"On a multi month trip, this was the highlight! There service was the best we have experienced (Including many 5 star hotels). The breakfast was amazing!. "This was hands down our favourite stay of our whole trip! The location was wonderful and central. The host was very helpful and told us lots about what to see and where to go. She was also helpful in checking in and in allowing us to hold our bags there until later in the afternoon. The interior of the room was so elegant and our balcony overlooked the street below. The room was spotless and it was obvious a lot of time had gone into making the space and the amenities feel luxurious. Thank you...

"My stay at Locando di San Martino was great. The place was perfectly located in the middle of Matera with beautiful views through the window and outdoor sitting areas.
They offer a free shuttle to and from the parking structure if you have a car, as you cannot park or drive near the hotel because of ZTL areas. This was so convenient and organized. You make a reservation with the parking structure online, and they answer you pretty quickly. Once you arrive, you just call the hotel and they'll pick you up within 10 mins as it's pretty close.
Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Right in the heart of the historical city of Matera you will find Cavoso Hotel. We stayed in one of the cave rooms which was much more airy and larger than I expected. The room had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. The hotel gives you a choice of breakfast in your room or the dining area. We tried both and enjoyed the variety. The view from the hotel is simply stunning with an incredible view of one of the famous stone churches on the hill. All the staff at Hotel Caveoso were helpful and had wonderful tips for dining and touring options. Everything we wanted to see in Matera was within walking distance from the hotel. Overall a wonderful stay."
