"Man this place was cool, staff was awesome too, great view definitely a little hike up a hill but it’s not far from the station and the surrounding area is so beautiful it didn’t even matter, super close to that waterfall walkway thing which is awesome, it’s just a great area loved it, and the bathtub was awesome, I definitely wore my kimono wrong but the staff was so nice reguardless made me feel very nice. and the japanese experience is REAL here aswell"

"Nous avions réservé une chambre traditionnelle et nous n’avons pas été déçu ! C’était magnifique et conforme aux photos ! Le futon, préparé en notre absence lors du dîner, était très confortable pour dormir à la japonaise ! Les bains traditionnels situés à l’extérieur de l’hôtel (compris dans le séjour et accessible en 2 min à pieds) étaient magnifiques. "We stayed for one night at Aura Tachibana, and our arrival from Osaka was unfortunately delayed by 3 hours due to a tsunami but we informed the hotel ahead of time and they were very accommodating. The kaiseki dinner was amazing, so much food and beautifully presented. It was served in the restaurant (not in the rooms) with a lovely view of the mountains. Our room had a private onsen which was great to have"
