Fantastic location. The house is old but looked after well and very clean. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom clean and shower pressure is great. One thing I would note is that there are internet-enabled security cameras at the back pointing at the whole patio and backyard, which may be a concern if you would prefer to maintain your privacy. Owner is very easy to deal with and very friendly. Will likely book again.

Paul was very helpful and accommodating. The property was very well presented with good quality cookware. So often we have rented a holiday house and the frypans are in very poor condition with the non stick surface all weathered. We don't have a boat so we fished from the jetty. Plenty of action with the tiddlers but we did manage to get a legal sized bream, whiting and two flathead. One was a monster of 64cm. So we were happy. Overall we were very happy with the standard of accommodation. Its hard to find somewhere with a jetty that isn't a mansion charging huge prices. The old fashioned holiday cottages are so cute and take me back to when I was a kid. Make no mistake although the cottage is of a bygone era outside it is totally modernised inside and was found to be as advertised. We would recommend a stay at lake escape for anyone who wants a well fitted out holiday home with tasteful décor but doesn't require a mansion. Well done Paul you are a great host and provide a lot of little things like shampoo and kitchen pantry basics that others do not.

This property was just beautiful. Usually my only option when working in the area has been motor inns. The owner was super helpful, the property immaculate and the view is spectacular! I am just sorry I didn’t get a chance to spend any time off to go fishing!
