"We stayed four nights with another couple for a long weekend of Broadway shows and nice dinners out. This was the perfect home base - we walked everywhere and it was a very comfortable home base. The bed was very cofortable, the lobby is a nice meeting place with a great vibe and the Spyglass rooftop patio overlooking the Empire State Building was a great place for a night cap to finish the day."

"Great hotel at a great neighborhood. The new restaurant downstairs is very good. You get 2 snacks/Drinks per night, my only problem is they were always out of Reeses and Pringles. Haha Great staff would recommend."

"The location of the hotel could not be beat! Right in Times Square within walking distance of so many major sites and right near the metro station. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The check in process however was super slow. The line was extremely long with only 2 people working at the main desk. It took well over 45 min to check in. That being said I would still recommended this hotel to anyone going to New York. "

"The Empire Hotel is literally across the street from Lincoln Center, so if you are in NYC for a performance, the location cannot be beat. The Empire Rooftop bar/restaurant was so delightful we went twice, for Sunday brunch and cocktails before the performance. The hotel is showing some wear and could use TLC; for example the wall artwork in the lobby was in disrepair, a lobby TV was held up with 2-by-4s, our bathroom toilet seat was broken, and the room's radiator/AC sounded like a jackhammer....
