"Well priced 5 star in Manila. A nice though small rooftop pool. Restaurant on roof to get drinks during the day. Good sized rooms with comfortable beds. Delivered ice to the room on request. Nice and central in Makati. Biggest downside was only 3 elevators for 32 floors so expect long waits at times. Front desk staff tried to be helpful when asked with variable success."

"I have stayed at New World Makati on many occasions. The staff is always nice, professional and accommodating. They usually take great care of the guests and this visit was no exception. I’d like to acknowledge the following: Club Lounge: Abbey and her staff, in particular: Wilson, Babylyn and Jim. Your service and attention to detail was outstanding! As someone who travels for work, I know the room attendants work extremely hard each day. I want to acknowledge and thank Jomel, who made sure my room was clean and comfortable! I mention to management and others (last year) that the hotel has been in a steady decline physically. It’s definitely gotten worse! The rooms are in dire need of remodeling which I know will be an expensive and timely undertaking. Hopefully new ownership knows, understands and plans for this! The staff can only do so much with what tools and amenities are provided. Jasmine (dim sum restaurant) is outstanding: service and food. But they need to be more attentive to pricing. I had to inform them that I was overcharged twice! Still, the selection and quality were great! Lastly, I cannot say enough about the Club Lounge and the staff, many who are new. They make the guest (myself for sure) feel at home. Breakfast and the available choices are awesome! The cocktail hour has been reduced and the quality of food and choices have also gone downhill. Maybe the Exec Chef needs to be changed. Otherwise, an outstanding stay but due to staff! Jim Lee Honolulu HI"

"Could not have been happier, staff was accommodating, friendly and kind, helping in anyway they could. Breakfast was fantastic with a very large selection of food from all over the world. Great location, had transportation arranged to pick us up from the airport and their drivers were excellent, engaging, and overall a joy to talk with after a 17 hour flight!"

"The room was clean with enough storage space. The shower had excellent water flow and washing supplies available. Room was on the 35th floor but the lift was very quick. The breakfast space was limited in size. Staff were very polite and helpful, thanks to them "

"The staff, especially security and front desk, were extremely helpful and go above and beyond - I felt well taken care of. Breakfast was great during my 2 week stay, Dinner was always delicious. Pro tip - I think it’s sometimes customary to raise your hand when awaiting service at dinner. The room was always clean and the person who cleaned it was careful and respectful of my belongings despite my pile of clothes I slung off after a day out. I’d recommend this hotel for the area. "

"The lobby was grand but the room was dated despite it being a grand room (which was a VIP upgrade) but no different from the original room booked. Excellent breakfast selections and all the fresh coconut water you can drink. The seafood buffet was great too. "
