I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times and I thought it was the most impersonal service that I've received.
There was no nice welcome back greeting in our room when we first arrived as we have experienced before.
I found most of the breakfast room staff polite and helpful except one of the senior female staff members who stands at the front of the breakfast room and asks for your room number. She barely said hello and after giving her the room number, she wouldn't look up or acknowledge you, sometimes she wouldn't say anything and after an awkward pause another staff member would guide us to our table. This experienced staff member seemed to be going through the motions. Kudos to Dale though who always gives great service.
The temperature set in the living room was like an igloo (17.5C) After a few days we asked for it to be increased to 22C which it was. Except the next day it went to 25C. So then we asked housekeeping about turning it down, they arranged for an engineer to adjust the temperature and this time it was sufficient.
Housekeeping were competent but often would take out hand towels and not replace them. There was also a few nights that we stayed in and didn't receive an evening service.
