"this is truly a gem right by the Luxembourg Gardens; genuine old world with all the modern amenities; I opt to stay here when traveling solo rather than stay at one of the fine hotels. The breakfast is sufficient but the dining room lends an elegance and quite charm that is a steal of an experience at just 15 euros—-the same price as from several years ago so the hotel is definitely providing it as a service. The hotel is very small without the facilities of larger establishments but the room was comfortably equipped, the bathroom spacious and the location excellent. The reception staff were polite and helpful. Older people with limited mobility might find it challenging climbing into the deep bath to use the shower."

"Absolutely fantastic! From our warm greeting by Antoine, to our departure, everything was wonderful. Thomas even realized that it was my daughter's birthday and had a little gift for her! The room was small, but perfectly adequate, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Beds were also very comfortable! It was very quiet, yet so convenient to the buses and metro! I would absolutely recommend this hotel and hope very much to return in the future!"
