Subject: Feedback on Recent Stay
During my recent stay, the experience unfortunately fell far below expectations, especially considering how expensive the stay was.
The first room we were assigned was filthy, and I was very concerned after taking a shower when black debris and buildup came up from the bathtub drain. It was honestly disturbing to think about having bathed in that water. The staff upgraded us to a suite, which we appreciated, but the issues didn’t end there.
The next morning, there was major miscommunication when someone entered our room while I was in my underwear, claiming we weren’t supposed to be there. We had already merged two reservations and confirmed our two-night stay with the front desk the night before.
When we called the manager, he told us there wasn’t a card on file (even though there was) and asked us to add one “to clear up the confusion.” After complying, we were issued new room keys that never worked for the rest of the day — meaning I couldn’t go in or out of the room freely and didn’t have time to fix it because we had all-day commitments.
Although we were given $100 in food vouchers, it didn’t make up for how expensive, uncomfortable, and stressful the entire experience turned out to be. Overall, the stay felt chaotic, poorly managed, and far below the standards expected for the price we paid.
