"The room was clean and reasonably priced. Sadly I didn’t sleep well as the mattress wasn’t very comfortable - small for a double, and it felt like we were rolling together . "Hotel was very clean and quiet. This was fantastic as it was next to a busy road but it was almost silent! The air conditioning worked really well on a very hot day and the staff were really nice. Bed was comfortable room a good size. Had a bit of trouble getting served at the bar and we were ignored for a while being at the side but they were apologetic for this. "We used to stay here many years back when visiting relatives in the area. Now it has turned into a Spa Resort, great for those who like and want to be pampered, no problems there, but we did find the restaurants evening menu is now very restricted for choice., plus there was always cold blasts of air, making it very uncomfortable to dine. Back in the day the then Ostler restaurant was far superior"
