Staff were very friendly and helpful, even after a 2am fire alarm ! ( not their fault !) Beat continental breakfast I've ever had, a massive selection where you couldn't fail to find great choices. As a coeliac i was well catered for at dinner too. Beautiful location.

A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers

A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers. The staff were lovely & the continental breakfast varied & suited us well. The rooms are separate "chalets" with allocated parking spaces next to each front door. We were concerned that staying in a pub may be noisy, but had a very peaceful night's sleep! The beds were very comfy & the family room spacious enough for 2 adults & 2 teenage kids (as long as they are happy in bunk beds!) The rooms are very dated & could do with a freshen up. They could also do with a really thorough clean, the corners etc. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

Quiet & Comfortable

Lovely quain pub for meals & drinks hosts & staff were excellent & very helpful. Restaurant & bar had a great choice & reasonably priced. Rooms were small chalet stule adjacent to the pub, comfortable with parking adjacent to the challet making it easy. Will certainly use again if in the area.
