"We had a great time! The staff were lovely and the resort was beautiful. Very clean and accommodating, the pools and views were great. The massage/hydrotherapy was the highlight! We were frustrated that when we arrived after check-in time, we still had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready. Some dishes at the restaurants were delicious, while the overall food experience was mid. Wish the pool/pool bar stayed open past 6P as this was the best vibe! Would return as it was a great overall experience!"

"We stayed at Hotel Riu Palace Punta Cana for six days and overall had a very enjoyable family vacation. There were a few minor room issues, but the staff handled them quickly and the positives outweighed the negatives. When we arrived, our first room had not yet been cleaned, and a few things werenโt working. Reception immediately moved us to another room on a higher floor and called it an upgrade. The new room was clean, everything worked, and we had a beautiful view. Some electrical outlets were a little finicky, and the elevator was out of service during the last two days, but neither was a major inconvenience. The all-inclusive service was excellent. The minibar was checked and restocked daily, towels were regularly provided, and drinks were always available. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and I never felt tips were expected. There is one large buffet plus several ร la carte restaurants. We tried the Spanish and Japanese restaurants but preferred the buffet, which had plenty of variety and different selections each day. Breakfast was especially good, with vegetables, olives, eggs, salmon, pancakes, fruit, and even a huge jar of Nutella! The resort has several pools, including family and adults-only areas, swim-up bars, and pool volleyball. The beach is only about 50 meters away. There was quite a bit of seaweed when we arrived, but the beach was being cleaned. There was nightly entertainment, a jacuzzi and wet sauna, and water activities such as kayaking"
