super happy with our stay here, the rooms and facilities were clean and staff were friendly and accomodating. everything was within walking distance and the rooms were just the perfect size for two. if you are wanting to be near a train station this accomodation is perfect as it is directly across the road which made it stress free when leaving to sightsee.

The location is great — not right in the city centre, which made the area quiet, yet still very convenient to get anywhere. The amenities were wonderful, and the staff accommodated every request with great care. The room was spacious compared to similarly priced hotels.

I give this rating mostly because the beds were incredibly uncomfortable for us, very hard and the only “solution” was to put a blanket on top of the mattress which did not help. While the room and bathroom were clean, there were so many marks on all the walls. Breakfast was good for the price. Most staff were very welcoming.

The staffs are friendly and the overall feel of the hotel / room are modern, well design, clean and spotless, good amenities such as a resident’s common area for coffee/tea, laundry service and gym. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was nice spacious. The room themselves could have been cleaner, the walls in the room have been dinged up by suitcases over time. The public bath is great. The location was alright, it's actually not as central to most of the hotspots in Kyoto but being close to Nijo Station which has a subway line and a JR line helped alot.
