A serene, modern, and stylish place with a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. Located in a quiet area of the city yet still easily accessible to all the main attractions. The beautiful garden and surrounding grounds are perfect for peaceful morning walks, and the elegant breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. I would definitely recommend it.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room was spotless and spacious and comfortable. The amenities were the usual ones in Japan nothing special. The staff was outstanding each of them did their outmost accomodate any requests we had and whent out ofntheir way to
We loved this hotel, and had a great 4 day stay in Kyoto. Very upscale and peaceful, in a quiet, non-touristy neighbourhood, with lots of convenient travel options. And we ended up in nearby underground jazz bar Zac Baran twice, as well as a tiny local restaurant about 15 minutes walk west, same side of street as hotel, called kawahigashi (it also says 'food and beverage' in English outside). We were the only people on a weeknight, with a single chef/server doing everything, and the food was phenomenal and reasonably priced.
This hotelwas absolutely perfect. Bus options to busy Kyoto area right outside. Quiet area and the property itself was spectacular. Rooms were spacious, food was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here.
It was a beautiful hotel and the service was impeccable. Only issue I had was there was no business center. However, I made the lobby area work and had an amazing view into the garden. Would definitely come again.
Very smart hotel with stylish rooms and a quiet garden, within striking distance of a number of the key sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Just be careful with taxi drivers to say Ukura Bettei - there is another Okura in another part of town where they will go if you don’t mention Bettei clearly.
Nice property, a bit farther from most attractions but in a quiet, tranquil area. Room was clean and provided lots of amenities. Hotel had one restaurant but dining choices and options were limited.
I was really grateful to have been given such great service throughout my stay here. They truly went above and beyond to make sure I was treated with a warm and inviting welcome to their hotel. The room and amenities were wonderful. I would definitely choose to stay here again!
