"The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that. House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead."

"Check in was quick and easy. Shuta made check in fun and had a great attitude. The check in is right next to Kyoto station and the free shuttle to the Kuon was unexpected and appreciated. The property was clean, had everything we needed, and is only a few blocks walking distance to bus stops, both Kyoto subways, and markets and shopping. It was an excellent base of operations to conduct day trips from to see Nara, the north coast, and the sights to see around Kyoto. I will have no reservations...

"Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again."
