Conveniently located close to trains and buses, we used this as our base for exploring Kyoto. There's a convenience store next door, and it is a short walk to many restaurants, shops and transport to the must-see Kyoto sights. Washer/Dryer combo unit in our room was excellent, and we enjoyed the kitchen and dining area for the ability to make breakfast and snacks easily. Would highly recommend.

This was the best property we stayed in of all the cities we visited in Japan. The Gion area was beautiful and quick walk to various train stations. Our hotel had all the amenities in room with a washer dryer in one and a nice shower/tub. Would stay at any Minn Gion property again and recommend them as well.

Easy to find, close to train station. Short walk to busy area nearby for food and shopping, pretty easy access to public transport for everything we wanted to check out in Kyoto. The apartment layout was great, perfect for our family with young children. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

The room was big for a Japanese room . The beds are super comfortable and check in was a breeze. About 10 minutes away you can find a rooftop bar called Moon Bar.

Everything was perfect for our family of four. The hotel is very clean, smells good, and the staff are very nice. I communicated through email, and they answered promptly. There are grocery stores right next to the hotel, many restaurants nearby, and it’s within walking distance to tourist spots, shopping, Kamo River and train station.

Nice spacious room, with washer dryer, very comfortable. Only downside is that there is no staff and unless you sre staying for more than 4 days, they dont clean your room. But otherwise checkin and out was very easy.

Our stay was wonderful. It was close to the train station so we didn’t have to walk far. It was also next to buses and we took one to Arashiyama bamboo forest. The washer/dryer is in your room so that was very convenient. The room was clean and it felt more on the modern side. Overall, we would 10/10 book it again whenever we visit Kyoto.
