Everything was great! Large room by Japanese standards, and close to bus routes, and the subway. The main hotel was welcoming of us as guests from the annex. Amazing hotel, clean, and convenient!

Location is alright, 15 minutes to the food market and to the train station. A Seven-Eleven nearby that's 24h open, and quite spacy room, really clean. Doesn't have views though.

We actually booked for the wrong night, and the lady on reception was so helpful in correcting our booking for no extra charge. Lovely, comfy room and good facilities. A bit tucked away and could be easily missed but close to local amenities

Room was spacious! The separated shower and toilet was a plus for us. It was very convenient! The alleys around the hotel were pretty either at morning or at night. And felt safe to walk anytime of the day or night time. There’s alao a very close seven eleven and family mart. Can’t praise this hotel enough! Highly recommend!

We love Kyoto a lot. From Granbell annex, we've access to Jr, Keihan and Hankyu lines which brought us to Nara, Okayama, Takamatsu, Hiroshima, Himeiji, Uji, Minoo, Hirakatashi, Osaka and Kobe. We also took sightseeing trains to Tsuyama and Onomichi. We also enjoyed our morning walks to Kyoto station, Kiyomizu dera and Fushimi Inari. We're thankful for inhouse coin laundry and cosme amenities. We hope cleaning services can improve as we're missing trash bags, toilet paper, slippers, towels, beverages some days. Thank you for pleasant 15 nights.

The hotel’s location is in a quiet neighborhood. Because of this, you don’t have a view from your room since the windows cannot be opened. The location is also not close to the train station, so you will need to learn how to use the local bus system. The room is spacious and has modern features. Overall, it was a good experience staying at this hotel.
