It is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room. Big bed , big screen tv , karaoke and a fridge , microwave , a stand up fan good , and good air conditioning . Honestly its an amazing room for the price . But it is a love hotel .

The room are nice and clean. The are is far from everything.
We almost left the hotel as soon as we walked in! Adults only!!! Very very weird, we would never ever stay here again.
We paid $50 cab ride everyday plus had to wait for a long time for them to call a cab.
Uber app wasn’t working.
Mise en garde, il s’agit d’un love hôtel très loin du centre ville, sans aucune activité aux alentours, sans transport en commun, restaurant etc.... voie ferrée et zone artisatinale a proximités. N’est pas à recommander.
If you can deal with the fact it's a love hotel it's the best value. And much roomier and comfortable than the tiny "notmal" hotels.
Plus free food! And big bathtubs.
It makes up for the taxi fare or walk to the train station
Love hotels are the way to go once you get used to it.
Just enjoy!
I loved the room, it was very spacious and had so many amenities. karaoke, PS4, jacuzzi, and a nice room music speaker. I loved the hotel but the area isn’t as convenient for travelers. The closest train station is about 10 min walk or you have to take the bus to the station.
I booked this room pretty last minute and most hotels were sold out in Kyoto. And the price wasn't that unreasonable given most hotels in the city were sold out so I can't complain too much. The rooms are spacious and reasonably comfortable. The staff's English is okay. No non-smoking rooms available for us so that was difficult for non-smokers. This room is set up for adult couples with extra large bathrooms, couple size tubs & such. It looks like this place will rent by the hour & there is a Hitachi massager in every room! Not in the most convenient location to sightsee Kyoto.
This is a really nice place. Our room was gorgeous! Big huge tub in large bath/shower area.
The main problem is that it's quite a distance from downtown Kyoto. It was about $27 to take a taxi one way from Kyoto station. From downtown Kyoto it was about $40 one way. If you took the subway to the nearest station it still cost about $15 from the subway station to the hotel. The nearest train station was much closet costing about $10 from the train station.
The only other problem is that no-one spoke English and we had a couple of issues that were a slight challenge to resolve. Also, there really isn't a "front desk" per se. You go to the front desk and have to ring and then someone comes out from the back to help you.
But overall it was a good experience. Our room was just so nice that it made up for the slight inconveniences.
