We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff is friendly, the room was clean and very comfortable with a larger than expected shower, and the location was fantastic. The breakfast is delicious with a variety of Japanese and western breakfast items.

The room was very clean, although I would have appreciated a small desk or dedicated workspace for using a laptop. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of choices. The hotel is also located in a very convenient area. When we return to Kyoto, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Brilliantly located. The hotel was our guest “Green” hotel and we’d definitely return. The rooms were comfy, clean and stylish. The breakfast was delicious. We were in the centre of everything and transport access was easy. The only thing I’d make comment on was the lack of proper coffee in the room but a free mini bar makes up for that! 10/10

Our suite was outstanding. Very spacious and well appointed. We loved having our own outdoor space which is rare in a hotel. Great location and we could walk everywhere. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Lots of variety for those with special dietary needs. The club lounge was a bit disappointing though. Most club lounges provide breakfast but this one didn’t so we had to purchase breakfast through the hotel which was about $40 per person. The club lounge didn’t open until 10:00 am and the food options were minimal during the day as well as in the evenings. Overall, a lovely property.

Great location, clean room and facilities with restaurants and stores in the lower levels. Walking distance to nashiki market. 3 laundry machines which were quite small but this is typical in Japan. Hoping to be back again!

The hotel is clean and staff are helpful. The room was nice but very dark, especially where the full length mirror was which made it difficult to get ready. There was a tablet to control lights etc in the room but this was a nuisance as it was like having an unwanted night light. Our room came with access to the lounge which in the evening provided complimentary snacks and alcoholic drinks which were appreciated. I didn’t rate the location and wish we’d chosen somewhere more central.
