"Excellent resort situated in an incredible rainforest setting. We are a family of four (kids aged 6 and 8) and everything about our stay at The Lost Iguana was better than expected. The resort is close to all the key attractions in the area, yet tucked away in a tranquil rainforest. We saw countless birds and heard howler monkeys right off our balcony. "We loved this spot! Our room was ready a little early. Everything was great. We loved the outdoor tub. The king bed was comfy. This room did provide toilettes. They has a med kit, lady products and anything else you could need. I wish we could have stayed another night. "

Kevin recommended some great areas to check out locally and Genesis did as well. Make sure to ask Genesis to make you her signature drink. It is the yummiest Jamaica drink I’ve ever had! "

"Very nice property and nice staff. Great location near town yet in the woods with sloths and monkeys often seen near rooms. Food was a bit uneven - great breakfast but dinner at the casual dining spot near reception was just ok. We did not try the main restaurant for dinner. "

"Fortuna Retreat is a beautiful boutique hotel – we were greeted when we arrived and shown around the property. Our room was very nice with a spectacular view of Arenal Volcano. The grounds were amazing, lush and verdant. The breakfast was at a nearby (short walk) restaurant and was delicious. We were extremely pleased with our stay and highly recommend this place."

"Incredible property. Exactly as pictured. If you’ve ever been on a 5 star African safari this is the Costa Rican equivalent. Only disappointment was our room didn’t have a volcano view as pictured but the room was incredible nonetheless and the main dining and pool area had a great view of the volcano. "
