"This place is an absolute gem. If you’re considering taking a moment away in the jungle to be with nature, live on a farm, eat amazing food, try different spa treatments, hike, yoga; this is the place! I stayed farm side which was cool at night. It’s a short hike or shuttle ride to the hotel part where dinner or spa activities are. You will not be disappointed. I’m going back and I can’t wait to experience it again. "

"This place was amazing! The rum was clean but average. No air conditioning but with the window open, fan, and dehumidifier it was very tolerable. The amazing part. .the staff and wildlife! Everyone was very friendly and went above and beyond to assist. Every morning and afternoon the spider monkeys came by the patio. So many birds and other wildlife to see just walking the grounds. If you love seeing wildlife then this is the place for you! "

"The property is just a 2 minute drive from La fortuna its in an excellent location that offers both peace and quiet as well as access to great restaurants and activities. The on site amenities are excellent including the restaurant. The hotel staff is attentive, helpful and very responsive. Id recommend Casa Del Rio to any couple of family in La Fortuna! Cant recommend highly enough! -Tyler and Breanna"

"Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!"

"Second time staying here and it’s a real gem. Very clean, great service and housekeeping. They recently added some new hot springs which was ideal for us at the end of each day, to unwind and relax after our tours. Solid breakfast with a beautiful view of the volcano. Will definitely look to return and stay next time we are in Arenal. "

"We were very pleased with this property, the view from room 27 balcony of the volcano was incredible, we woke up both mornings to see full visibility. Breakfast was delicious, staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for walking downtown."
