"Absolutely beautiful property. We stood in the Smithsonian room. Absolutely gorgeous view of the volcano. Room as described. Our only regret was not reserving a room with mini fridge. No AC as described but it was not needed. Everyone was absolutely attentive and always ready to answer questions. We ate most of our meals in the restaurant preferring to stay nearby to relax. "The property looks just like it's pictured. It's an amazing view. It's nice to have access to the hotel below, but it's not really walkable. It is if you want a cardio workout, the steep climb is tough even when you're in shape. I did it once and it was a hard climb/walk. So much to do in the area and even though we were there in the rainy season we were prepared and didn't let the rain stop us. "

"We had flight cancellation and we arrived one day later. Raul was in touch with us all the time. He scheduled and rescheduled our tours more than once. He was amazing. Suwa is close to the best restaurants and commerce. They offer free coffee and water in the room and laundry. You also can use the full equipped kitchen. I deeply recommend Suwa Village Arenal "

"Amazing place! It is a little outside the town with an amazing view of the volcano. The property was so relaxing with a pool and shaded areas to hang out. So many birds and a beautiful garden! The actual room was good for sleeping and making simple meals but we spent most of our time outdoors on the property. Would stay again!"

"This place was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the back patio with table and mini kitchen. It was beautiful to sit and eat breakfast on the patio watching the hummingbirds in the flowers. The staff was helpful and friendly. They helped us book a couple excursions as well."

"This is definitely one of the best hotels we've ever been to! After a day of tours coming back here was like heaven. Bed is comfortable, rooms are spacious, and most importantly the room is very clean. I find myself comparing other hotels to this one. That's how good this place is! :D"

"You cannot beat the views from the property. Staff was super friendly and food was really good. They have a good breakfast with variety of options. It is about 10 minutes from town so you would need a car or to get a taxi every time you go. Ubers are cheaper. Room was great and spacious, my kids loved the jacuzzi in the room. The only downside is that the tv is out of date and small."
