"We had a magnificient stay at Banyan Bay. The staff were friendly and helpful, we felt like home during our stay. There is plenty of activities which are available for free like kayak, paddle board, and cooking class. One thing to take note about the natural friend "insects" around the environment. "The outrigger was absolutely amazing. We were actually there during the off-season, which is supposed to be their Rainey season, but we never got more than a few showers in the afternoon. If you swim out past the beach to the edge of the reef, you can snorkel right off the resort. You can also take a long boat out to one of the other islands or beaches. "The property needs upkeep in the type of room I stayed. The mattress is ultra hard, I woke up with a backache my first night. Also mattress need to be checked for bed bugs. A bad sewage smell was coming out of the bathroom pipes & I had to keep the bathroom glass door closed. Also, hotel could probably provide a bug repellent air freshener, because bugs come inside whenever the door is opened. The property calls itself a resort, but it needs more amenities to deserve such title. For starters,...
