Would definitely recommend to bring your own snacks and drinks as well as food if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions as the menu is very limited and there are only certain hours to order food. "We loved this resort. The bungalows were very spacious and clean. It had a nice porch to have a coffee in the morning and listen to the birds. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of foods. The resort had several dining options. We tried a few and loved them all! The pool was very nice as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our luggage was delayed in Hong Kong and the contacted the airline many times to make sure we got our luggage as soon as possible. We hope we can come back to the island and will definitely stay in the same resort."

"We had an amazing time - overall excellent experience. We came to Layana Resort to relax and relax we did. The hotel staff was really friendly and attentious, the grounds were beautiful, the vibe was quiet and relaxed.
The spa was a real treat and we enjoyed the time we spent there getting massages and mani/pedicures.
The restaurant was great (especially the Thai dishes and special menus) and we had all our meals there for most of our stay. Eating by the sea never gets old :)
Sunsets were beautiful, and while the sea was not safe for swimming for half of our time there (very strong tides), the pool by the beach more than made up for it. "
