Also bus outside the house to head directly to Edinburgh where we enjoyed the Fringe festival. Alice went out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic weekend, highly recommend."

"This castle was absolutely lovely. The staff were amazingly friendly and the rooms were very nice and welcoming. We walked the grounds and saw some nice views. I highly recommend the castle dining room. The food was amazing!"

"The room was extremely small. The bathroom you could barely move. The shower door did not close and could not get hot water. We were expected a lot more for our money."

"Good sized room, we were surprised how roomy it was, place was clean but there is room for improvement. Breakfast was ok nothing special just avarage. Paying extra for parking on the top is ridiculous especially the rate they charging. Overall We would stay again: good facilities like spa and pool, lovely bar and nice staff."

"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive. This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive...

"Low rating for staff because there is none. However, all the rest was fabulous. Comfortable bed and pillows, quality duvet, amazing design and decor. There’s also a cabinet on the upper floor to get additional amenities if need be. Would go back!"

"Parking wasn't accessible due to maintenance being done on the building. The room was clean. And smaller than what is advertised, also there was no common area like in the pictures. We had a mini table in the hall with a coffee station."

"We never got to stay in the apartment because we couldn't safely get to it. We were informed on the Expedia page that it would be a first-floor apartment. This was not true. The apartment was on the fourth floor (which is fifth floor in the US). The stairs were dangerous and unsafe.
