"The Ocean Mist is a delight, particularly if you remember the sad state it was in a few years back. Now it has a super mix of original details and modern comforts, managed by smiling, helpful staff in naval uniforms. Bed and linens are top notch - there isn’t a tv, but if you want to stay in your cabin the wi-fi will let you stream. "エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"The Abbey Residence has a rooming house feel. We had a spacious room with large but dated ensuite. The walls could use a lick of paint, but there were no real issues with the room. Wifi was good and our room had a good sized Roku based smart TV with lots of streaming options. Parking in central Edinburgh is hard so leave your car at the Abbey Residence and catch the bus into town from the bus stop just across the road. "Everything was clean. I loved my room. It’s not the most updated place in the world, but it had its own charm. It’s warm and inviting. The staff was great, and had good suggestions for tours. It’s kind of a pain not having anything nearby. No convenience stores or coffee shops. You have to take a train or Uber. I tried the connected restaurant twice and did not care for it. It’ll do though with nothing else around. Overall, it was a good value and I felt safe and comfortable"
