"This property is a resort - we didn't participate in many of the amenities, but ate at the restaurant and enjoyed many other aspects of the hotel. This is Zermatt - an incredible place if you've never been. Hotel Alex Resort is the closest to the banhof and we were greeted at the base of the resort by a wonderful genteleman who took all of our baggage (a lot) which allowed us to check in with comfort and ease. And what a wonderful check-in experience by Nunja, a Croatian who spoke impeccable...

"Have no regret to booked myself a solo trip for 2 nights in this marvellous hotel. Great front desk staffs at welcoming. Room is clean and comfortable with nice Mountain View. Perfect location with less than 150m from the train station and surrounded with lots of shops. Hotel facilities (gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room) are great especially on the rainy which I could not do much activities out door. Well, if the opening time for these facilities can be extended till 10pm, will be better....

"The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. We were upgraded to a beautiful penthouse with views of the Matterhorn. The breakfast was excellent and they even took us to the station in the snow at a moments notice. Wonderful! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Apartments Patricia. It was comfortable and convenient to transportation to the mountain, and it has a locked equipment room which was nice for skis and boots. We liked having a the kitchenette to cook some of our food during the week. And, we really enjoyed using the spa/pool at the nearby Alpen Resort & Spa at the discounted rate one day."

"Die Zimmer schön gemacht und sauber etwas klein, aber zum schlafen reicht es. Das Frühstück war gut. Die Auswahl war Standart. Das Rührei war nur noch lauwarm, schade. "

"No lift. Heater not working. Pillow flat and strong smell of softener (maybe to cover the awful smell of old pillows eeeeeewww!. Make so much money frm the high price charged but can’t even change the pillows to make it more comfortable for guests. Noisy place can’t sleep. Overpriced. We can stay at 6 star hotel fr the price paid in this village. Simply unpleasant."
