"The room was exactly as described. It was a little dusty under the sink. This room has no closets, but does have hangers and drawers and areas to put your shoes we were on the 14th floor. The staff overall was amazing from the doorman to the bartenders to the staff at the restaurants they were all great. Especially staff at the front desk. They went above and beyond for us. "

"Basic hotel. Check in. Check out. Decent location. Near Wall Street, Battery park and ferry to Ellis island… subway close. Nothing special but I don’t think it’s intended to be. Fine for place to crash and if you want anything it’s close by. "

"Hotel was in a good neighborhood but it was over priced for what it was. But that’s to be expected in NYC. The reservation said we would get a $36 food and beverage credit but no one offered it or seemed to know anything about it."

"The room was good and the location is excellent, our room had some noises which kept my wife up and there was a nearly $45 a night destination fee. If there is noise for you, you can ask to switch rooms. "

"This has become my go-to hotel of late for NYC trips. Not because it's anything fancy, but the location right next to Penn Station, Amtrak, LIRR, and the A/C/E, 1/2/3, B/D/F/M, and 7 trains is so convenient. Many pilots & flight attendants whose regular route takes them to NY stay here for this reason. The staff, and particularly the housekeeping staff, is super-friendly. The hotel itself is nice enough - plenty of large, double rooms, a nice art deco style (it was world famous in the 1930s), and history (Nikola Tesla lived his last days here) - and it's almost always reasonably priced. "

"The rooms are huge and the staff is great. The club on the 14th floor was really loud on Friday night (we were on floor 7), but it was still a good stay overall, and less expensive than other places. The bed was clean and comfy."

"We had a lovely time at the CitizenM Bowery. The hotel was centrally located for all of the things we had planned for our trip. We loved just being able to rollout out the door get some coffee or a bagel. There was even coffee in lounge area as well as a coffee shop/counter in the lobby...so coffee access was NOT a problem :) We had stayed at the CitizenM Paris a few years ago, so we know the vibe, amenities, etc that the hotel offers since they are all laid out the same. While we heard traffic/beeping car horns from the street, we never heard any noise inside the hotel from other guests or staff. The only downside is the bed being up against the window but we knew that was the layout when we booked it. As long as you are limber enough to climb in and out of the bed, there are no issues. I can see this being an issue though for some folks with mobility issue (there could be more accessible rooms available and I am just not aware, so please don't let that sway your decision on whether to stay here). Definitely take time to have to drinks at the roof top bar. The view was spectacular and relaxing. Finally, we had a late night snack hummus which hit the spot after a long night out. Definitely recommend and will be back. "
