"I think some of these people leaving reviews have very high standards for budget hotels! This place is fine. The air con and WiFi worked well in my room, the bed was comfortable and the main beach is a walkable distance. The main problem is the noise from the road in front of the hotel, but it didn't keep me up at night so it wasn't that bad. This is a decent budget option."

"Comfy bed, friendly staff, hot shower. WiFi is horrible, you need to sit outside to have good signal. The building is staff house for staff of several resorts on the island. No holiday atmosphere. People really live there. Dirty towel of guest before me was in the closet. Staff is friendly but could explain all the buttons in the room (hot water/airco etv) and be a bit more hospitable."

"I wanted to stay in this area for a couple of days before leaving for The Datai. I needed a place that I could walk to the restaurants and bars (not that I drink) but for social media content in Langkawi. I explained to the staff that I am there for a super car race in 2 days. Immediately, the staff arranged a secure place with guards, near a bank to take care of it. So I did not move my car for 2 days, as I was busy working. The car was secure and I was at peace. That alone helped me work in peace. The staff were so kind and were VERY attentive to this particular need. They really helped me quite a bit. Have the welcome drink at the bar. If you get bottles of wine, they do not charge cockage too consume it at the bar. The Australian Shiraz was heavenly. Great selection."
