De kamer was ruim en schoon. De eigenaar was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We kregen een extra warme deken omdat het een koude nacht was. We zijn hier een half uur vanaf de luchthaven, de taxi wordt geregeld. Het is hier heerlijk rustig slapen. De mensen in het dorp zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij.

Es ist völlig anders als die Fotos beschreiben. Dazu auch noch schmutzig. Stand 70er Jahre... Sind sofort wieder abgereist und der Manager sagte es sei kein Problem, wir würden das Geld zurück bekommen. Expedia sagte dann Nein, dass Hotel würde Erstattung ablehnen. Nie wieder

It's a wonderful location. But I don't understand why they would give me a room facing the back instead of the sea when it is off-season and no one is here.. But the room is very nice and comfortable..I went for a run along the water and then I was disappointed again when I wasn't allowed to go into the water.. They shower in the room was nice though. I have a hot water kettle in the room and the bed is comfortable.. After three months in Turkey this will be my final two days and I will leave back to the US. The taxi from here to the airport is reasonable and a fixed price of 250 lira. It's close to the water and the sea is beautiful... If you stay here ask for a room with a view of the sea when you check in. Considering the cost is twice what I paid everywhere else in Turkey, I think that would have been reasonable to expect. But anything this close to the airport is expensive so it's well worth it even without the view.

Stayed in room 1 - huge disappointment: no mini-fridge, no coffee/tea in the room; no desk; some kind of portable fan/heater placed on top of the drawers with no instructions; large AC on the wall didn't have remote; leaking ceiling and sink in the bathroom; dirty shower by the perimeter of a shower; a hole in the bath towel; no bulbs in bedside wall lights, hence, not working; large mirror was just leaned on the wall; no electricity after T-storm, so no WiFi, no ability pay by credit card; attempted to charge unreasonable price (600 turkish lira) for three cups of tea and one bottle of water; 5am - loud prayer; 6am - loud rooster; 6:30am - loud birds.

These guys are just fantastic. Mustafa (one of the staff and an excellent cook) really saved my life. Being tired and foolish I left my phone in the taxi, I thought it was gone for sure but Mustafa actually went and reviewed the cameras, got the plate number, called the municipal authority and got the drivers information, called him and he found the phone and drove it back to me. Nothing short of remarkable. The honesty and integrity wont be forgotten. Now onto the property and the food. The location is awesome, close to the airport and an amazing view of the Black Sea. Arnavutkoy is exactly how you would imagine an ancient european fishing village to be. The culture, architecture and feeling of the area is great, not at all touristy and the people treat you just like another human being, not a mark like in Istanbul. Dont get me wrong Istanbul is amazing in its own way but I wouldnt stay there, stay here and take the 500 Lira (25 USD) taxi into the city to visit and sight see. The food was authentic, tasty and well presented. The first night when Mustafa was busy fixing my mistake the owner invited me for dinner, drinks, fresh bread, it was just fantastic and if you can believe it when I tried to pay he refused to take any money. This speaks to the quality of the people here. If you're looking for a spot to spend a layover or touristing in Turkey this is the place to stay. Ill be back in May! Thank you again for a great experience.

Seaside layover ahead of morning flight from IST

We stayed here as an alternative to the airport hotels. Local area is undergoing development. Limited options for food. Staff and service is friendly but facilities were basic and tired. Not suitable if you have heavy luggage, as the stairs are narrow. No taxis in this area, but the property can book an airport transfer for a flat fee.

Motel staff was super friendly and nice. Great check-in and check-out. They called a taxi at 4 a.m. for me. (the cost of the taxi was the same as airport orange taxi even though the car itself was a blue taxi). The man checking me out offered me food and water while I was waiting for the taxi. I enjoyed the closeness of hte beach. The room was clean. The shower had hair in it. There was no hot water (just slightly above air temperature). There were two shower heads, but one was broken - was stuck at the shower separately from the hose. And the other shower head (the tropical rain one) did not exactly work. There was just one sheet (bottom sheet, thin and with a hole), no sheet for the blanket (but I did not ask for it to be supplied, when I saw that it was missing). The large towel looked very clean at first glance but it had a large dirty spot at the bottom. For the price that I paid, it was ok.

Ich kam leider nicht zum Aufenthalt, weil angeblich meine Buchung im System nicht zusehen war. Weil ich angeblich im Februar gebucht hätte und die Preise wäre viel günstiger wie jetzt so hat der hotel Manager gesagt. Weil ich spät am ankam wegen meines Fluges, dürfte ich aus Kulanz die Nacht bis den Morgen bleiben und am nächsten Morgen wieder verlassen weil angeblich alle Zimmern belegt wären. Deshalb möchte ich mein Geld wieder haben. Ich finde diesen hotel nicht seriös. Totale Enttäuschung Mit freundlichen Grüßen Ahmet Güzeller

La camera è molto grande ma molto sporca, con polvere qua e là e segni palesi di umidità in doccia e bagno in generale. Il condizionatore è presente ma fisso a 29 gradi: se si provava a cambiare la temperatura si spegneva. Lenzuola profumate ma macchiate e strette rispetto al letto (uscivano dal materasso). Ma il punto cardine della mia recensione è il seguente: alle ore 23 io e la mia ragazza ci siamo accorti che il letto era rotto, nel senso che la struttura è collassata nella parte centrale ed era impossibile riposare in quanto dai lati si finiva al centro. Sono andato in reception a chiedere aiuto ed i due ragazzi dello staff, che si stavano divertendo, mi hanno risposto ridendo che gli dispiaceva e che non potevano fare niente e che, testuali parole, "I'm not an engineer". Dopo aver chiesto una stanza diversa, che purtroppo non era disponibile, li ho fatti salire in camera per vedere la situazione e, accortisi del letto rotto, hanno ribadito che gli dispiaceva e che non potevano farci niente perché giustamente era tardi. Il giorno dopo non han chiesto nulla, come se non fosse successo niente e non hanno nemmeno avuto la dignità magari di offrirci la colazione (che è a pagamento) o un semplice caffé. Note positive: il wifi funziona bene e c'è il parcheggio di fronte all'hotel.

Super value right here! I had a 16 hr layover in Istanbul and stayed at this place. Could not be more happy with my choice. The beach is a 10 min walk from here as well as a ton of cafes and restaurants on the main street by the beach. The staff were amazing. Super friendly and very helpful. This is not a 5 start luxury place, so don't expect crazy amenities here, but if you are looking for VALUE - this is definitely it. Clean, quiet, great location and the views from my room were unbeatable. Highly recommended

Service of staff at hotel excellent Loved the village Shame about the airport shuttle cost more than 50% more than the airport taxi we arrived in told that what the meter say but when did the driver start meter maybe he changed more as we got to airport very fast we were thrown around in the car glad we had our seatbelts on

Staff was Friendly. View was good. Can’t Sleep due to Music for whole night. Shower/Toilet/Room dirty plus Broken Sink. T.V with No remote so can’t operate. Was leaving for Airport at 5am. No staff was there for check out.

Had a great one night stay here and was an opportunity to see a different park of Istanbul away from the centre. The staff, especially Erol and Hassan were very hospitable and helped us arrange a taxi to pick us up at 4 in the morning! Good location to a fish restaurant on the beach, clean bathroom and air conditioning in the room. The hotel dog - Chico was a great first welcome.

The arrival was rapid and convenient. The hotel was clearly built originally to a decent standard, but the room we stayed in was very poorly maintained, with bare electrical wires, mould and staining in the bathroom, melted wax and other easily-removed grub on surfaces, urine around the toilet, toothpaste marks around the sink. It is this lack of cleanliness which is more of an issue than the maintenance - it would not be easy to sort this. In the morning and at departure, no engagement from the staff. A shame, we cannot recommend it.

A overall good experience

Staff was extremely friendly. When I got in, I was taken to my room and offer a drink. After that, I was asked if I was hungry and a meal was provided. After that I had my taxi info taken for the following morning. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend again

Great place / toller Ort

A great place near the water. The guys running the place are a great team. If you are looking for a place near the sea and the airport, this it! Tolles Motel. In der Nähe des Flughafens und mit dem Schwarzen Meer vor der Tür. Vielen Dank an Serkan und sein Team! LG, Wlad
