"Venice is one of those complicated cities to navigate so it's hard to optimize for the "best location". It was a bit of a long walk and lots of stairs from the train station and bus terminal. Even if you take a vaporetto it's a winding walk through the streets---only a taxi could get you conveniently to this hotel. But it's in a pleasant neighborhood that's pretty chill and about equidistant from most of the things you want to do. Gondola rides are right around the corner. It's about a 40...

The room had AC without a locked temperature which was great because we could put it to as cold as we wanted. Issue: There was sooo many fruit flies in our room. "This apartment was off the beaten path just around the corner from a small canal. We were on the 3rd floor, there’s no elevator, so that was a hike. View from the room to see the canal we had to stick our head out of the window and look to the right. The staff was extremely welcoming, a surprise of snack was a welcomed surprise! "The 2 bedroom and 2 bath unit on the ground floor was spacious for a family of four. We loved the large bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, cups, and pots and pans. The only drawback was with the communication with the host. I would ask questions about the unit or the check in process and for DAYS, no response. I was getting nervous because I received no information how to get in the unit with less than 5 days to go. With my other stays in Rome and Florence, the...
