"This property is unique, it is a very old property with all mod cons and some contemporary styling. Loved the facilities and I am a lover of lots of milk in my strong tea, I always have to ask for extra milk … not here, extras for all your tea and coffee making was on the landing. "Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant and welcoming experience. The staff were warm and attentive, and the service offered solid value for money. That said, the balcony could have benefited from more thorough cleaning, and the absence of in-room WiFi was a notable drawback—especially since access was limited to the lobby. With a few improvements in cleanliness and connectivity, the hotel has the potential to offer an even more comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"A bit late here for a review, but stayed in late June. Friendly and accommodating to us who failed to read the hotel rules and had a couple of awkward moments with late arrivals and service needs! Really appreciated the homey, peaceful atmosphere. Beautiful authentic antique structure with just the right modern conveniences and Great access to our choice garden visits in the area. we would definitely stay again Thank you Julio! love the white Hydrangeas"

"The hotel was just a short walk from the beach front and a number of restaurants and cafes. The hotel itself was nicely decorated, check in was a breeze. The room was a little compact but comfortable. I had data issues in my room."

"About 5 minutes walk from Rye old town, markets, shops and restaurants. Hotel, although a little jaded round the edges decoration wise, was lovely and clean and comfortable. Bedrooms were a good size, comfortable beds and pillows and bathrooms very clean. All public areas were clean and tidy. Staff were very pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. Good bar with an area outside with seating overlooking the river. And, breakfast was wonderful and many options. Would stay here again if down in Rye...
