"We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!"

"We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed. We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. "The experience was absolutely lovely and had many little touches that made it more unique like the sloe gin in our room and the quiet lounge which we enjoyed a complementary whiskey in. The breakfast was the best we have had and we have stayed in many hotels! The only reason I haven’t given this a full 5 stars on the service was for 1 reason only and that was when we ordered our drinks for dinner it took about 10-15 mins to arrive and there was only 8 of us in the restaurant but apart from that...
