Beautiful setting for this old building. Staff very friendly and helpful. We much enjoyed our stay but it was very busy with weddings on both days we were there. A few minor niggles with our room and also the rooms our friends stayed in. Delicious bar food and breakfast.

The staff were exceptional especially the gentleman who delivered our room service. Unfortunately we didn’t get his name but we were in room 353 on the 26th Oct. You had an event on and were extremely busy but he was working so hard and delivered excellent service. We saw he was also still working at breakfast! Again he worked so hard and was so friendly. Lovely hotel, but some areas including the the pool area were a little tired. Our room was awfully hot dispite no heating being on and having the window wide open in October. After speaking with staff it was a known issue with the room due to avent underneath and they took breakfast off the bill.

Beautiful place. I was here for a wedding and it was a truly amazing experience. It also smelt wonderful due to many diffusers. I loved it and would happily return. Excellent breakfast too. I was in the newer part - comfortable bed lovely room though a small window. My only gripe is the room coffee. Fabulous range of quality teabags and biscuits but only sachet coffee. Strange!! Brilliant place though
