"Stated one night after a concert at London Stadium. Only one stop on the central line and a 15 minute walk. Really enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the adjoining restaurant"

"The room was half the price of the local Travelodge. Everything was adequate. (But not more than adequate) Staff were helpful and friendly. The parking was very secure. The reception was staffed 24/7. This is a cheap room, don't have high expectations and you will be fine."

"Lovely place to stay, nice room, clean and well maintained. Lovely self service buffet breakfast with a good choice of food. If I had to choose one negative thing it is a good 20min walk from Stratford train station but they do have a car park if you are taking a car."

"The Brownswood is lovely and I keep returning year after year. It feels like staying with family. Pub is a great time. Quick access on bus network or plenty of bikes around make commuting to central easy."

"The room is very clean & alstaff waa able to clean the room the day after our check-in. Staff in the reception is very good, helpful and accomodating . However the staff in the restaurant (8th July morning) are quite intimidating. While we are having our breakfast they keep on coming into our table or sneak and we felt like we are being watched with their little gestures. "Pro: we got a bigger room which is meant for handicapped guests; kitchen is complete however no seasoning provided ; water is refillable near lobby lift ; location is fantastic near to Westfield mall and Stratford station with 5 tube lines Con: only provide 2 coffee capsules for 4 nights stay, need to buy our own ; reception service is under expectation except Benito’s service is 👍"

"Unfortunately my stay here was very short lived as the hotel had no air conditioning during a heatwave. The room was unbearable and with no fans or the ability to open a window it was impossible to stay. I understand that air conditioning can brake down but it was disappointing that the hotel didn’t inform us of this ahead of our visit. If so we would have postponed the trip. Very poor customer service"

"Very friendly staff in the pub when we checked in. Rooms are not huge but for a short stay they are perfect. Was a bit worried about noise when we booked it but no issues at all. Hackney is a great spot , loads of cafes nearby and good public transport. Will definitely come back again. Many tks, guests from Dublin"

"So I'll start by saying this is not a cheap hotel. The cost was comparative to some of the higher end places I stay in London. Overall the hotel was adequate with a clean room and easy check in. The issue is the ventilation system that runs from 3am every morning and cannot be switched off. It woke me up every time and is so loud it cannot be ignored.
