The breakfast was simple and tasteful it was prepared every day to our liking! Rooms were clean, the place is very well designed in the heart of Florence and a bit farther than the hustle and bustle of tourists. A short walk of 10-15 min from every major attraction. Amazing stay to kick off our honeymoon! We loved the breakfast and how easy it was to access the location. The city centre is around a 10-15-minute walk away and easy to get to everything from here. We loved our time at The Wheels, and would highly recommend anyone visiting Florence to stay here. The entire space is beautifully designed and the location is perfect. It’s close to great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping, but just far enough away that it is quiet at night. Francesco was extremely hospitable and went above and beyond with great recommendations for both Florence and our upcoming travels. The breakfast was wonderful and the perfect way to start each day!

Room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Location was also very convenient. Host was very helpful and provided very good suggestions about the area. Only negatives were there was no daily room cleaning or fresh towels provided. The rooms and entire facility is a bit noisy (everything is a hard surface that does not absorb sound). Could easily hear anytime another door outside our room opened/closed and also hear others talking.

Highly highly recommend. The hotel is small and intimate in a residential area away from the touristy chaos. I couldn't find the check in instructions so sent a message via expedia and the owner Francesco called me within minutes with instructions. Very soft pillows, great hair dryer, tea, espresso and snacks provided 24/7. Anddd, aside from a cute breakfast pastry buffet, Francesco cooks each guest pre-selected breakfast meals (I got the veggie omelet both mornings), and is present to answer any questions re travel or suggested restaurants, bars, etc. Will definitely stay again when visiting Florence.

I loved my stay at TheWheelsofFlorence. It’s about 7 min walk from Duomo, 15 min walk from train station. The property is spotless. Breakfast is awesome. The host is very nice! The property has a kitchen/dining space with all kind of coffee-s machine, fruits, jams, some snacks all the time. Small yard with a table. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Large TV screen with many apps available. Nice smelling soap and shampoo and conditioner :) I will definitely stay again when I’m in Florence. Thank you Francesco for being such a wonderful host 🙏

Francesco was amazing, I wanted to be his best friend as soon as I met him. He was very responsive and accommodating when I had questions on public transportation and needed a taxi when I left. Traveling alone as a female I would definitely recommend this place, it was so clean, easy to get into and very walkable. Extremely easy to get to from the airport (about a 6 minute walk from the train). All in all I would give it a 10/10 and hope I can visit again in the future :).

We had a great stay at TheWheels Florence! The room and facilities overall are nice and fresh, and the location is great (10min walk to Duomo). Really price worthy! Only small minus was the location on the first floor, which otherwise didn't disturb at all but as the window in our room was towards the street, in the night when people are walking past it might wake you up.

Francesco was a wonderful host. He kept us well informed and responded promptly when I had questions. The room was very clean and quiet and the bed was comfy. For breakfast, we had a tasty ham and cheese omlet one day and a bagel with salmon and avocado another day. The self serve coffee maker was a nice touch for an early morning cup of cappuccino. Everything was close and within walking distance even to the train station. We had a wonderful stay and recommend this B&B. Thank you Francesco for your warm hospitality and making us feel at home.

The location couldn't have been better — right in the heart of Florence, within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. If you want the full artistic experience being in the city of Renaissance arts, this is where you must stay. This is a fantastic boutique BnB style property tastefully converted from a classic old world apartment in Florence. What makes this place different is in its stunning interior design (especially the bathrooms) and the layout of the rooms offer a bit more privacy than most other BnBs! Each room comes with a stocked minibar and comfortable beds, which is unlike usual European mattresses known to be hard. Excellent rainshower bathroom and towel heater! Moreover, hot breakfast is prepared on-site by the host with pastries, coffee, juice, etc. The location is extremely convenient to the airport just a 5-minute walk to a T2 tram stop that takes approx. 30 minutes to the airport and less than 2 euros. Easy walk to all the main sights of Florence, and excellent local trattorias nearby to beat tourist traps. Wonderful communication from the host via WhatsApp prior to the trip offering detailed access instructions. Super easy to locate and self check-in. Overall a very pleasant stay for the value, happy to recommend to all visitors who will treat this property with the respect it deserves!

Really nice stay in the “premium” bedroom; although all the rooms look lovely. Really great conservation and interior design effort from Francesco, the incredibly friendly and helpful host. Breakfast was really delicious - simple; hearty; great ingredients. Our only minor quibble would be the firmness of the mattresses - but everything else was great. It’s Italy, so naturally a bit of flexibility goes a long way. Awesome location, walkable for those who like to do so - and means you are away from the busy central epicentre at night and also that you can go “round” the city on ether side for other locations. A perfect choice for those wanting to get away from faceless corporate hotels and no-help options of airbnb.

Disappointing stay at TheWheelsFlorence. Unfortunately, we didn't have a good experience at this bed and breakfast. There was no one to greet us, no innkeeper on site, and no personal attention. Any request had to be sent through WhatsApp, and even then, it wasn't handle until the next day. We arrived to a room full of mosquitos-we killed around 25 on the first night and still got bitten. They don't offer free daily cleaning, which is fine, but at the very least the bathroom trash should be emptied. Sleeping was also difficult because the air conditioner was very loud. And like many places we encountered, there was no cable TV or international channels, only local ones. the only positives were the walkable distance to the train station and to several tour meeting points. Other than that, I would not recommend this B&B.
