"The room was very dusty. There was brick dust on the bathroom walls together with cobwebs. There was dust stacked on the hand basin waste and mould on the curtains. To get hot water to the basin you had to run the tap for at least 10 minutes and you could not get any hot water to the shower at all. The car park was a joke....7 or 8 spaces for a 40 room hotel."

"Everything in the house which made a great stay. Beds very comfy and excellent heating. Close to the town to pick up groceries for a self catered break. Regular bus and trams into Blackpool."

"The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some....

"Despite hearing the contrary, found everything absolutely fine, my room was clean, staff were excellent, buffet breakfast had enough choices in my opinion. OK, so the tea bags in the room were not very nice & the communal decor could do with a bit of modernisation, but that’s trivial & didn't affect a positive review."

"The reception experience was not good. It was advertised as bed and breakfast but when I got there, I was told that I had to pay extra for the breakfast and never saw anyone to cook the breakfast if I wanted one."

"Our stay was great, no issues there my problem the car park, i called the reception at 7am to say i needed my car we were checking out at 745 to be told there wasn't anyone available to move the other cars until later on, which meant i had to leave my car in the carpark and get a taxi to the dance venue and another back costing me extra money which i hadn't budget into my weekend! Plus the extra time getting back to the hotel at the end of a busy day! Xx"

"The Savoy is a mixture of good and bad. The public rooms are beautiful with a lot of original features. Our suite at first glance looked fresh and clean but on closer inspection the bathroom was quite dirty. The bath at some time was a Jacuzzi but this no longer functioned as such. The tiles on the bathroom floor were incredibly slippery - we had to lay towels over the entire floor. We would have liked bath robes to be available. However the biggest problem was the lack of food options. The...

"When we got there we was upgraded which was really nice. The room was okay the bed Will comfy but from 2 am the noise was horrendous. There were fighting on the corridors what sounded like someone smashing the rooms up we have no sleep at all and had to drive back an hour and a half to get home. There were girls screaming banging on our door was awful not happy at all"
