"DO NOT STAY HERE.....BEWARE.. PLACE IS A HOSTEL....SHARED BATHROOMS? I booked on Expedia flying into Anchorage in a hurry (my fault) and did not see where it said shared bathrooms... I had no idea that was even possible.. The room was tiny! The beds were singles (Tiny). We chose not to stay and share a bathroom with strangers and booked elsewhere that had a full size bed and a private bathroom. The management would not refund $1.00 of the over $225 that I paid and did not use... THIS PLACE IS...

"For $200/night (they Expedia - much higher otherwise), an actual lobby with at least coffee available would have been nice. I (now) understand it's an extended stay place, but even then they could have a few amenities."

"Staying in June, it would've been nice to have room darkening curtains. There were also barking dogs on both sides of our 2nd floor room!"

"We flew into Anchorage a couple days early before our cruise out of Seward. We were supposed to stay at the convention center which closed down permanently This ended up being a last minute booking, I thought the place was quaint and really nice. It's been renovated and the lobby is very lodge like. They serve a nice breakfast every morning and have transport to and from the airport. The grounds are well kept with beautiful flowers all around the property (this was in June). Downtown Anchorage...

"Check in was a mess. Arrived at 3pm and room was clean. Check-in was 4pm.Tried to check in and was told (by phone call - nobody on staff present at hotel) that there would be a $30 charge. I refused and they relented. Room was small but hotel is well located. Coffee shop downstairs was nice. Did not clean room each day and could not get extra towels. Overall, just OK."

"Parking was great, lots of spaces, close to restaurants and drivable to restaurants. Staff was very helpful, and gracious. Laundry facilities in hotel. Walls are a little thin, so if you have noisy neighbors it could be an issue."

"Plain Jane hotel. Expected more for the price. Free breakfast buffet looked pretty bad so we skipped it."

"I hate to give a bad review since this is someone's livelihood however,I would not recommend this facility to anyone as a place to stay. It is run down, the grounds around it are unkempt and before I asked for a different room, the 1st room did not make a good impression with cigarette burns in the bed covers, wood rot in the bathroom, and a kitchenette that looked as though it was furnished from the dump. No, not even two stars from me."
