However, the blind was broken above one of the beds which let in an excessive amount of light in the early hours of the morning, which was extremely unideal with a four year old and a one year old child staying.

"Where to start, it was cheaper than most places in Newcastle but still wasn't worth what we paid. No air-conditioning, the kitchen drain smelled terrible, the toilet leaked, there were toenails in the bathroom, originally put in a two bedded room when there was 3 of us, very hot stuffy room, unable to open window properly as there was a chain lock preventing us. Beds were clean and fairly comfy."

"Everything was perfect from walking into reception. The staff were not just professional but very warm and friendly, making you feel welcome. The bar and restaurant were easy and the food and drinks were stunning, also amazing views of the Tyne Bridge. Rooms were spacious, well laid out and perfectly cleaned. I would’ve liked a fridge for our drinks but it didn’t affect our stay, the bar provided us with a large ice bucket full. The whole hotel even smelled amazing which may be a small detail...
