"Personal beim CheckIn sehr freundlich. Am Eingang wird auf renovierte Zimmer hingewiesen. Diese waren leider alle ausgebucht. Auf dem Hotelgelände genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Kosten nichts extra. Super angenehm, da Gatlinburg zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Man braucht daher kein Auto um Gatlinburg zu erkunden. Zimmer schon etwas älter. Aber alles sauber und ordentlich."

"I travel to Townsend a couple of times a year to visit GSMNP and have stayed at numerous hotels in that area. This was my first time at The Parkman. Property was clean and staff were efficient. My only complaint was that my room did not have a mini-fridge and microwave. The property is undergoing some renovations and I hope they add mini-fridges and microwaves to all their rooms. The restaurant next door is also under renovation so there is no breakfast offering at the current time."

"The night attendant who checked us in was exceptional and really set a great tone for the stay. However, a few things fell short for the price: breakfast was underwhelming, the room could use more wall outlets (ideally with USB and USB-C ports), and the bed felt more like a full than a queen."

"I was greeted by two lovely ladies who helped me check in. I was just stopping by to check the premises out since I was WAY early for check in (11:30 AM) and my room was already ready and she let me check in! I was given a gift with 2 waters, apples, and few pieces of candy. The room is EXACTLY as online. I loved the mountain vibe with decor and looked to be recently renovated, clean and roomy. The pool was big and refreshing, and the free breakfast was a slight step up from the typical hotel...

"The stay was absolutely lovely! Would no doubt be 5 stars but the lights in the parking lot are, in fact, that bad. I appreciate the attempt at creating a safer environment but it does almost ruin the balcony and the view after 9 ish. Switching to a security light that is angled down and not up and out would make all the difference. Its like sitting infront of ford f-150 with their brights on. "Elevator out. Pool was closed. Room smelled musty and moldy. Carpet was gross (musty/moldy). There was no hot water. Visible mold throughout. No real lighting in the room. Breakfast was a continental with the option to microwave pancakes. They did give us another room after they saw all the issues. The new room was much better but still had visible mold and the toilet did not work well (running). This place needs to be closed for a full renovation."
